Found this recipe on Facebook and trying it tonight, good way to get a toddler to eat some veggies…

VEGGIE CAKES:

• 1 cup bread crumbs
• 1 1/2 cup COOKED vegetable (going to try peas tonight)
• 2 1/2 tbsp water
• 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
• Pinch of thinly shredded cheese (optional, WATCH FOR ALLERGIES)
• Pinch of Italian seasoning (optional, could choose fresh herbs of your own)

Mix and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

Though I just texted Scott to see if we have baking powder and this is what he sent back to me…

Unless that means June 2106, I foresee a trip to the grocery store in my very near future. Someday I’ll get brave enough to go through my spice cabinet and see how old everything is from websites like this and this.

Little miss pulled her jumper out of the closet and insisted I put her in it for the first time in months.

And I think it’s safe to say that if you hit the floor with your butt when you bounce, then tell your momma you’re SO BIG! and walk away still strapped to the doorway, you’ve officially outgrown your bouncer.

We had our 15 month checkup and the nurses didn’t laugh at me this time.

Trying so hard not to break out in a Beatles medley while her hair is growing past the eye poking stage.

I keep trying to clip it back but she screams bloody murder during the whole process, and 2 seconds later she remembers I stuck a barrette in her hair and it’s on the floor. Next step, super glue.

And my new favorite thing in the whole world – Summer’s new dance move, she does this all the time, even when Scott whistles.
